For me, packing is one of the stressful parts of travel. I always agonize over every little piece of clothing that goes into my backpack or suitcase and most of the times I bring more clothing (or toiletries) than I needed. I’m probably not the only one with ‘packing-stress’, so that why I created the ultimate female packing list for packing light. Of course you can add more on your female packing list, but these things are definitely the essentials!
Because I prefer to make list on paper and I know a lot of you prefer the same, I made a (free!) printable for you. It’s just in PDF file, so it’s easy to download. So definitely download this ultimate female packing list if you have a trip coming up!

When we travel to a country, we all want to learn something from its culture. I’ll tell you the 5 best ways to meet the local community while you’re traveling. Continue Reading

In just 1,5 years I stayed in over 20 hostels. Before that I never slept in a hostel, so when I started traveling I didn’t really know what to expect. But what do you really need when you’re going to stay in a hostel? I made a list for you with 9 essentials you definitely need to bring to a hostel. Continue Reading
Even though it’s not sure yet, my boyfriend and I are planning a roadtrip to Belgium and France this year. In April we bought a ‘new’ car, so that’s why I came up with the idea to do a roadtrip this year. As I said, it’s not sure yet. We want to go on a vacation this summer, but we also want to save money for our trip next year (Thailand!). As a kid I always went on a ‘car vacation’ and I went many times to France (at least 10 times!). So I thought it’s time to go back to this lovely country and hit the road with our new car! I already made a list with 13 road essentials and now I’m going to share those essentials with you. Continue Reading
Even though I’m kinda busy lately, I’m wandering around the internet. If you don’t have time to travel for real, than you have to do it on the internet. I have a lot of favorite travel websites I use for my wandering moment. They’re really useful for travel tips and for booking hotels and flights, so that’s what I’m going to share with you today! Flying is not my most favorite part of traveling. Sitting in a chair for hours isn’t the most fun thing to do and besides that I get (travel) sick really easily. To make a flight more comfortable I try to be as active as possible. That doesn’t mean I’m going to jog in the airplane, but I’m always trying to move around and do different things during a flight. Just sitting and waiting makes a flight a lot harder, so I have some tips for you to survive a long distance flight. I use those tips too, so I know they work! Continue Reading
