How to survive a long distance flight?

Flying is not my most favorite part of traveling. Sitting in a chair for hours isn’t the most fun thing to do and besides that I get (travel) sick really easily. To make a flight more comfortable I try to be as active as possible. That doesn’t mean I’m going to jog in the airplane, but I’m always trying to move around and do different things during a flight. Just sitting and waiting makes a flight a lot harder, so I have some tips for you to survive a long distance flight. I use those tips too, so I know they work!

Things to bring:

  • Tablet/laptop (fully charged)
  • iPod (fully charged)

  • A bottle with water
  • Warm socks
  • Warm sweater
  • Scarf (for your neck, as a blanket..)
  • Tooth brush + toothpaste
  • Cleansing wipes
  • Lipbalm
  • Daycream (I use it for my face, but also for other dry spots)

Other tips:

    • Try to move in your seat every 15 minutes
    • You’ll get travel sick easily? Take pills before you go, but also before landing
    • Dress comfortable
    • Don’t be afraid to put your shoes off
