Last summer I decided to travel through Europe by bus. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and after doing a lot of research, I found out the cheapest way to travel through Europe is by bus. There are a lot of options and those vary also a lot in prices and destinations. In my research I found 5 bus companies to travel with through Europe, which were the most active and biggest ones I could find. Continue Reading
Flying is not my most favorite part of traveling. Sitting in a chair for hours isn’t the most fun thing to do and besides that I get (travel) sick really easily. To make a flight more comfortable I try to be as active as possible. That doesn’t mean I’m going to jog in the airplane, but I’m always trying to move around and do different things during a flight. Just sitting and waiting makes a flight a lot harder, so I have some tips for you to survive a long distance flight. I use those tips too, so I know they work! Continue Reading
When I’m going on a small trip or a long travel, I always have my daypack with me as hand luggage. I keep my travel essentials in this bag and I can’t go on a flight without them. I’ve listen them down below for you to take a look what my essentials are and why I have them in my hand luggage.
1. Travelcase with my passport, tickets, notebook and pen
When you’re traveling you need a passport and tickets, so that’s not weird it’s an essential for me. I have a case for those and in it there’s also a small notebook and a pen. Just to write down ideas for my blog or for other thoughts I want to write down. I love it to have it all together, because I hate it when I can’t find my passport or ticket. Continue Reading
There’s always an excuse for everything, so there’s also an excuse for not traveling. I should say a lot of excuses. As a traveler you hear them all the time, so it’s time to bring those excuses down!
Excuse 1: “It’s too expensive”
Traveling can be really expensive, but it doesn’t need to. It depends where you are going (Australia is expensive, but Vietnam or Indonesia isn’t) and what kind of choices you make. Not only while traveling, but also before traveling. Save money instead of buying unnecessary material products like a brand new car and when you do that you’ll have enough money for traveling. One thing to make clear; traveling doesn’t have to mean staying in 5 star hotels and eating always in expensive restaurants. You can make your trip as expensive as you want. Continue Reading
I don’t have a tattoo, but one day maybe I will. I don’t like every kind of tattoo, but some I think are really beautiful. I like it small, black and meaningful. I love to experiment with make-up, but when I’m traveling I don’t want to bring my whole make-up collection with me. That’s why I have a few basics for my makeup bag when I’m traveling. This post is about what’s in my travel makeup bag when I’m traveling with a suitcase. When I’m traveling with my backpack, I want to keep it even more basic than what I show you now. I will show you those basics in the future, but first my make-upbag when I have enough space to take a bit more with me. Continue Reading
Traveling can be really expensive (how to save on accommodation?). That’s the reason why you have to save money before you go, because most people don’t have ‘the luck’ with millions of euros on their bank account. I love to dream about everything what could happen in my live. But dreaming doesn’t make it happen, so in order to make it happen you have to start doing it. Literally start living your dream. You can live by expectations from other people, but you can also live the way you want to live. When you’re 80 years old and you reflect upon the life you have lived, you should not have any regrets. That’s something I have in mind since last summer. I love traveling so much, even though some people see it as a vacation, for me it was such an experience and also a relief. I found something I really love to do. So since last summer I want to start living the life I really want to live. That’s why I give you 5 reasons why you also should do it. Continue Reading
