Lately there’s some hate about social media, because people claim that social media is fake. I don’t agree with this statement, because I don’t think social media is fake. In my opinion social media is a perfect way to express yourself and your creativity. I love to use Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to express my feeling and to share my travels with the world. Of course most of the times it’ll be the highlights of my life, but nobody will be happy if you’re only complaining on social media. I agree about the fact some accounts can be a bit fake, in the way they’ll promote everything they are getting money for. If people are doing that, I probably unfollow them really quickly. The only downside of social media is the fact some people aren’t aware of this. So I think the publicity around this subject is great to raise awareness. When you’re are aware of this, you can form your own opinion on this topic. Like I said, I love to use social media to express myself and my creativity. That’s why I love to use Instagram and that’s why I made this post. In this post I share my top 5 favorite pictures from my Instagram.
Skyline of Frankfurt. I didn’t expect Frankfurt to be that beautiful. It has a lovely old centre, but it has also a beautiful skyline of the financial centre. This skyline and a sunset is the perfect combination for a beautiful picture.
You don’t need to travel to make a beautiful picture. This picture is made just around the corner of the street I live in. You have to appreciate what you have, so that means also your neighborhood. I’m sure there are many beautiful places around you.
Whitsunday Islands in Australia. Everything over there is perfect for a picture. I would love to go back!
Made in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Poland. Such an awful place with an awful story.
Also at the Whitsunday Islands in Australia. I think this picture has a perfect scenery and it has again a lovely sunset.
What’s your opinion about social media? Do you think it’s fake?
Four weeks ago went to Poland to visit Warsaw and Kraków. Wow, it’s already four weeks ago! Time flies when you’re having fun (or just when you’re busy!). The trip to Poland a spontaneous one, without doing big research what I could expect. My goal was to enjoy a county what isn’t known as touristic one. Also I wanted to work a bit on my photography skills and have patience to make a good picture. That’s what this post is about. I want to show you my most favorite Poland pictures I made. Still I’m not a professional, but I think with a bit of practice and have a lot of patience my photo’s will get better. Continue Reading
After three days of Warsaw, it was time for Kraków. I went by train to Kraków and it takes approximately three hours to get there. I think the train is a great option to see more of a country and in Poland it’s a great way to travel. I think Warsaw is an amazing city, so I was really curious what Kraków would do to me. But it was as amazing as Warsaw, maybe even better. I fell in love with the city and already recommend this city to a lot of people! So if you want to know what to do in Kraków, you can read my post! As a student you have to be careful with your money. I work already 6,5 years in a supermarket to earn some money to do great things instead of only paying my study. As you all know I love to travel, so the great thing I do with my self-earned money is traveling. People near me don’t understand how I can afford traveling that much as I’m doing. First of all it’s the will power to safe a lot of money, but second of all is searching all the time for the best travel deals. When I found a great deal and I’m able to travel that moment, I will take it. That’s also what I did with my trip to Poland. I found a great deal at the Ryanair website and I couldn’t resist it. In this post I’m going to tell you how much one week Poland costs. Of course you can make it as expensive as you want, but for me it’s a great challenge to get it as cheap as possible. Even though I was traveling with only a carry-on suitcase, I had some space (and kg’s) left to shop. Not that I had planned to shop, but when you’re in the city it’s really easy to jump into a shop. That’s what I did and I bought some great things I want to share with you. Continue Reading
For only €37,- I found a return ticket to Warsaw. I couldn’t resist it and bought it. No idea what to expect, I just went. Because I had 7 days in Poland, I thought it would be nice to visit two cities in one trip. So I went to Warsaw and Kraków, the two most populair cities from Poland. I can say this trip was really amazing and I didn’t know (until now) how amazing Poland is. To give you some inspiration what to do in Warsaw I have this list down below. Of course there’s much more to do in Warsaw, but those I really like the most. Continue Reading
As you may know if you follow me on social media (if not; follow me!) I’m now in Poland. I’m here for 7 days and I’m visiting two cities, Warsaw and Krakow. To save money I only want to take carry-on luggage with me. I bought a carry-on suitcase and start packing really efficiently. So what did I pack for a week of Poland? Continue Reading
