In the past I was a bit of a makeup hoarder. Okay, not a bit and not even in the past. I just love makeup products! Especially lipsticks and eyeshadow, because those does have the most beautiful colors. Even though I don’t use eyeshadows everyday, I prefer to have a lot of different options for the days I want to wear it. Lipstick is a product I do use every single day and it’s one of my favorite products to finish my look with. For my everyday makeup look I use most of the times the same products, but with a different lip color everyday. Do you want to know what I use on a daily basis? Most of the products are really affordable! Continue Reading
Because of the fact I didn’t plan anything for this summer and of the fact my boyfriend is away for two weeks, I really wanted to do something with my time. Now as you know, I love to travel, so I decided to search for something on a budget. Plane tickets are quite expensive in peak season, so I searched for an alternative and found a bus company which travels through Europe. The bus tickets are really cheap and all the way to Luxembourg I only pay €127,-. In Luxembourg I will meet my boyfriend and we have the last couple of days together in Luxembourg and Bruxelles. So what am I planning to do and to see on my Europe roadtrip?
Bremen: 1 day (layover stop, otherwise it was such a long bus ride)
• St. Petri Dom
• Haus der Bürgerschaft
I only have one day in Bremen, so I’m going to walk through the city and try to see as much as possible.
Copenhagen: 4 days
• Church of Our Saviour
• The Little Mermaid
• Amalienborg Palace (at 11.27 o’clock)
• National Museum and/or Geological Museum
• Renting a bike
• Free walking tour
• Shopping in Strøget
• Visit alternative Christiania (Maybe)
And if I have on day left, I will go to Malmö. This is a city in Sweden and it’s only 25 minutes by train away from Copenhagen.
Berlin: 4 days
• Berliner wall + search for streetart (East Side Gallery)
• Charlottenburg Palace
• Berliner Dom
• Renting a bike
• Going to the ‘Teufelsberg’
• Topographie des Terrors (museum)
• Fernsehturm (TV tower with an amazing sight of the city)
I’ve been already in Berlin a few years ago. So the most touristic attractions I have seen already, so I’m not going to visit that all again. I want to explorer the city more and don’t plan as much. I just want to feel the city vibe.
Frankfurt: 2 day
• Alte Oper
• Visit the Main Tower
In Luxembourg I will meet my boyfriend again and we’ll have our holiday together. So those days depends also on him what he wants to do, so those things below are only a guide line for those days. But maybe if we don’t want to do anything or we just want to shop or something, we do that.
Luxembourg: 3 days
• Chemin de la Corniche
• Cour Grand-Ducale de Luxembourg
• Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Luxembourg
• Visit Kazematten
Bruxelles: 4 days
• European Parlement
• Courthhouse of Bruxelles
• Cathedral van Sint-Michiel en Sint-Goedele
• The ‘Grote Markt’ (translate; big market)
• One day to a tropical swimming pool (Oceade)
This is just a guide line for me what I’m going to do the next couple of weeks. Some things I won’t do and probably I will do other things too. Traveling is about enjoyment and doesn’t need to be planned perfectly. Now I just have the highlights of the cities all in one post. So it’s easy for me to decide what I want to do, if I have ‘nothing’ to do. After this trip I will tell you what I did in each city and what I recommend to do if you are there.
My trip starts tomorrow, so if you want to be up-to-date about my trip, please follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I’ll update as much as possible, so you get a great impression of the cities! Do you have other recommendations for things to do or to see in those cities?

When you’re going to travel in the next couple of months, there are a few essentials you need to have for this summer. I found some great fashion essentials on some international webshops and they are also really affordable! They are definitely my summer essentials for this year! So if you want to follow the trends while traveling, click on the image for more information. Continue Reading
As a student you have to be careful with your money. I work already 6,5 years in a supermarket to earn some money to do great things instead of only paying my study. As you all know I love to travel, so the great thing I do with my self-earned money is traveling. People near me don’t understand how I can afford traveling that much as I’m doing. First of all it’s the will power to safe a lot of money, but second of all is searching all the time for the best travel deals. When I found a great deal and I’m able to travel that moment, I will take it. That’s also what I did with my trip to Poland. I found a great deal at the Ryanair website and I couldn’t resist it. In this post I’m going to tell you how much one week Poland costs. Of course you can make it as expensive as you want, but for me it’s a great challenge to get it as cheap as possible. For only €37,- I found a return ticket to Warsaw. I couldn’t resist it and bought it. No idea what to expect, I just went. Because I had 7 days in Poland, I thought it would be nice to visit two cities in one trip. So I went to Warsaw and Kraków, the two most populair cities from Poland. I can say this trip was really amazing and I didn’t know (until now) how amazing Poland is. To give you some inspiration what to do in Warsaw I have this list down below. Of course there’s much more to do in Warsaw, but those I really like the most. Continue Reading
For years I had to borrow a suitcase from my boyfriend’s father. Last year I bought a backpack, because carrying a suitcase to Indonesia and Australia wasn’t a option for me. Now the time has come that I bought my first suitcase. Not a big suitcase, but just a small carry-on suitcase. Next week I’m going to Poland and I take only handlugage with me. So I needed a suitcase. I could borrow it again from my ‘father in law’ (we’re not married), but I didn’t want to ask it again. Now the time has come that I needed to buy one for myself, so I don’t have to depend on someone everytime I travel. Continue Reading
