I can write thousands of reasons down why you should visit Australia. It would be a long list to write and I don’t think anybody is waiting for a long list. Instead of naming those thousands reasons, I made it more compact so it’s easier to read. But don’t forget, there are many more reasons and after reading this article you also want to go to Australia.
1. The nature is absolutely stunning!
Beaches, rainforest, desert, coral reefs. Australia has it all! And not the worst, they’re amazing. The nature in Australia is so different from the nature I’ve ever seen in other countries. I love nature anyways, but the nature in Australia let my heart beat faster. Tips for if you want to see nature; Blue Mountains, Fraser Island, Whitsundays, Daintry Forest, Uluru-Kata Tjuta and Great Barrier reef.
2. The city life is more relax
I really like the way how cities look in Australia. It’s way different what I’m used to, but the ambience is also more relaxing. I’ve been only to the cities on the East coast, but it’s amazing to have a big city next to the ocean. The cities have great beaches, but there are also free public swimming pools. And there are parks with barbecues you can use for free. I heard the nightlife in the Australian cities is great, but I prefer to sleep at night to do as much in day time. If you want to visit only one city in Australia, it has to be Sydney.
3. The people are so friendly
As I said the ambience is much more relaxing in the cities as I compare it to the Netherlands, but also outside the cities people are very friendly. People are extremely helpful and friendly.
There isn’t a better place to surf then in Australia. Even though you’re not sportive, you’ll like surfing. Actually I love to surf, even though I had only one lesson. Surfing is now a big thing on my bucketlist and next year I’ll do it in Thailand (hopefully!).
The same for diving, there isn’t a better place to dive. I think it’s a must when you like to dive, to dive at least once in Australia. The coral reefs in Australia are beautiful. It’s not cheap to have a dive in the Great Barrier reef, but it’s absolutely worth it.
Yes, I fell in love with Australia. Even though I was there only for three weeks, it feels like home. Sounds weird, but when you’ve been to Australia you understand what I mean. The trip was definitely too short, but that’s a good reason to go back one day!
