As you may or may not know, I’m a ‘beauty lover’. I love to try as many different products as possible, especially when it comes to makeup. I love to play with different colors and textures, even though I only do that a few times a week. Because I already have a lot of makeup and beauty products, I didn’t want to buy much more in 2015. Of course I bought some new items I could not resist and we all have our beauty staples we need to repurchase. Some of those favorites I already mentioned in ‘Everyday Makeup Staples‘, but some of these are new. These products are definitely my most favorite beauty products of 2015 and if you are searching for new favorites, you definitely need to check them out! Continue Reading
For me, packing is one of the stressful parts of travel. I always agonize over every little piece of clothing that goes into my backpack or suitcase and most of the times I bring more clothing (or toiletries) than I needed. I’m probably not the only one with ‘packing-stress’, so that why I created the ultimate female packing list for packing light. Of course you can add more on your female packing list, but these things are definitely the essentials!
Because I prefer to make list on paper and I know a lot of you prefer the same, I made a (free!) printable for you. It’s just in PDF file, so it’s easy to download. So definitely download this ultimate female packing list if you have a trip coming up!

I love watching documentaries, because it’s a fun way of learning something new. As a geography teacher I love to incorporate documentaries into my classes. Most of my pupils will understand the course material better when they see it on screen and it’s something different to do. Luckily there are many documentaries out with amazing footage and especially nature documentaries. On Netflix you can find many of those documentaries. I decided to share my top 5 nature documentaries with you that will take your breath away. Just a warning before you watch it; You definitely want to travel even more after watching those Netflix documentaries, because it shows you how beautiful this planet is. Continue Reading
Dublin is a lovely city to visit, which has also a lot to offer. Not only in the city itself, but also outside of the city. There are many day trips from out Dublin which are worthwhile to make. There are a lot of organized tours from out Dublin, which aren’t even that expensive. So if you’re visiting Dublin, just go outside of the city for at least one or two days. So no matter how long you stay in this city, you won’t be able to get bored! Continue Reading
2016 will be the year of changes. Not only ‘New Year resolution’ wise, but also just in my normal life. Big things are going to happen like my graduation, hopefully traveling to Thailand and there’s a chance that I have to move houses. I don’t have control on everything that’s going to happen in 2016, but I will try to make the best of every situation. Of course I made myself some goals for this year. I don’t want to call it my New Year resolutions, but life goals, because it sounds less scary. Which is hopefully something I can stick with for the rest of this year. Continue Reading
Happy New Year my friends! May the new year that follows be the best you have ever had. What do you wish for in this new year?
‘Wish’ is maybe not the best word to use in this sentence, because we are in the driving seat of our life. So we have to take responsibility for our actions. 2016 will be the year for me that I’m going to make things happen, instead of wishing for something to happen. I’m tired of waiting for things to happen, which of course has no point of doing. I’m going to take control of my life and I hope you’re with me.
One of my resolutions for this year is to blog more regularly. If you follow me on Twitter, you may know that I ‘struggle’ with the fact I want to write about more than just travel. Traveling is something I love to do and love to write about, but it isn’t something I’m able to do a lot. As you may know I’m a teacher and I’m also still in university, which means I’m not able to travel whenever I want to. There’s so much more in my life what makes me happy and that’s something I also want to write about.
That’s why I want to share with you the change I’m going to make in this upcoming months. My blog will still be a travel blog, but with a more personal touch. This personal touch will be the other things what makes me happy in life, like baking or my love for makeup. I just want to write about happy things, which gives me positive energy and hopefully inspires and motivates you to do whatever you want.
Of course nobody, but myself, has given a label to my blog. It’s just because everybody is talking about creating your own niche and choosing your subject. This is an example of me caring to much about what other people think, something I really want to stop doing this year. Everybody is going to have an opinion and I need to let this fear go. This is something I want to work on this year and this is also something you’ll see in my upcoming content.
I hope I informed you enough about the changes that will happen on my site. And for now; Happy New Year!
